Garden plots are available for resident use and enjoyment at numerous Fairfax City community gardens. Community garden plots may be rented seasonally, beginning in spring and ending December 31st of the year, for exclusive gardening use. Applications for a Fairfax City community garden plot are accepted year-round on a first come, first served basis due to limited availability. All applications, with the exception of renewal applications, will be placed on the waitlist until availability occurs. Garden plot rental fees include the use of a raised garden bed and water provided for the season, and are due for payment at the time of garden plot assignment or December 31 if renewing. Rentals cannot be applied for over the phone. City of Fairfax residency is required at this time.
