AARP Driver Safety Course
This course is scheduled through AARP and is held at various times during the year.  Dates will be listed in the senior center four-month calendar or please visit www.aarp.org . Registration is required, call 703 273 6090 for information. The next class is scheduled for March 29 and Wed, March 30

Alpha Literary & Philosophical Society (ALPS)
ALPS is an informal discussion group of about 32 men and women who meet at 7:30 pm on the last Wednesday of each month.  At each meeting a member volunteers to select a topic from a variety of historical and current events, research the issue and write a paper.  This paper is then presented at the next meeting and discussed.  For a schedule of topics of further information, call Bob Thompson at 703.978.5823 or visit www.alpsociety.blogspot.com .

Fabric Fanatics Sewing Group
If you enjoy sewing, joining this group on the last Tuesday of the month from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm is a wonderful way to work on your own projects or offer your help for a charitable cause—you can also get involved in taking apart clothing that will be adapted for soldiers at Walter Reed.  For more information, call Lynne Thompson at 703.978.5823.

Fairfax Antique Arts Association
The Fairfax Antique Arts Association meets the third Thursday of each month at 10:15 am.  The Association invites guest speakers to discuss and show their collections and encourages members and guests to share their antiques with the group. Interested? Stop by and check it out.

Men's Morning Coffee Group
Every weekly morning come rain or shine, the senior men gather at the Green Acres Senior Center to have coffee and to share in an hour of fellowship. These men refer to themselves at the “Senior Committee of Everything.” All interested men are welcome to join the “Senior Committee of Everything” from 8am to 9 am every day except holidays.

Millennium Art Guild
The Millennium Art Guild meets from 1:00 pm-4:00 pm on Thursdays.  Artists bring in their own art projects and supplies—all mediums of art welcome.  For information, call Shirley Staples at 703.218.3172.

Northern Virginia Senior Olympic
Sponsored by the Northern Virginia Senior Olympic Committee and co-sponsored by Northern Virginia Recreation and Parks Departments, the Northern Virginia Senior Olympic  Program is held annually in Northern Virginia and open to all senior residents ages 50 years and older. Members of the City of Fairfax Senior Center have participated for many years. Please contact Anne Chase for more details.
