Directions:

 

From the Capital Beltway:
Take Exit 52A (Route 236, Little River Turnpike West) and travel about six miles into Old Town Fairfax.

 
From I-66 East or West:
Take Exit 60 (Route 123/Chain Bridge Road). Follow southbound Route 123 through the City of Fairfax to Old Town Fairfax.

From I-95 North or South:
From points north on I-95, take Exit 27 (I-495 West). Once on I-495, take Exit 52A (Route 236, Little River Turnpike West) and travel about six miles into Old Town Fairfax.
From points south on I-95, take Exit 160B (Route 123 North, Lake Ridge/Occoquan). Follow northbound Route 123 for about 16 miles to the City of Fairfax.

From Route 50:
Take Route 123/Chain Bridge Road south. Follow southbound Route 123 to Old Town Fairfax.

From the Vienna/Fairfax-GMU Metrorail Station:
Take the CUE Bus (Green 2 or Gold 1) to Old Town Fairfax. The CUE Bus Fare is $1.75 cash OR SmarTrip® card.  For CUE Bus route and schedule information, visit the City of Fairfax Web site or call 703-385-7859.

Free parking is available at all of the following locations:

  • Bank of America, 10440 Main Street (handicapped parking available) (accessible from Route 236 and North Street)
  • City Hall, 10455 Armstrong Street (handicapped parking available) (accessible from Route 123/Chain Bridge Road and George Mason Boulevard)
  • City of Fairfax Regional Library, 10360 North Street (handicapped parking available) (accessible from University Drive and Old Lee Highway)
  • East Street parking lot (handicapped parking available) (accessible from Route 236/Main Street and East Street)
  • Fairfax County Courthouse Garage B, 4400 Chain Bridge Road (handicapped parking available) (accessible from Page Avenue)
  • Fairfax Museum and Visitor Center, 10209 Main Street (handicapped parking available)
  • Fire Station 3, 4081 University Drive (handicapped parking available)  
  • Old Town Plaza, 3955 Chain Bridge Road (handicapped parking available) (accessible from Route 123/Chain Bridge Road and University Drive)
  • Old Town Village (behind Pacer's, 10427 North Street) (handicapped parking available, open at noon Saturday and all day Sunday) (accessible from University Drive)
  • Sager Avenue parking lot (accessible from Sager Avenue and University Drive)

Shuttles:

The Chocolate Express

The Chocolate Express provides free shuttle service between event locations during the festival.
All shuttles on the route are fully accessible.

Saturday shuttle hours:  9:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Sunday shuttle hours:     11:45 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

CUE Bus

The City of Fairfax Cue bus system will run its regular routes during the festival. For more information on CUE Bus routes in Fairfax City please visit the City of Fairfax Transportation Department webpage.
