Warrant Service Arrest

October 1, 2024 • 4:53 p.m.

Officers responded for the report of a person wanted out of Maryland. Shuaib Kamara, 32, of Fredericksburg, Va was arrested and transported to Fairfax County Adult Detention Center where he was served his warrant for Failure to Appear and for being a Fugitive of Justice. Kamara was held without bond. (2024-16019)

October 2, 2024 • 9:15 a.m.

Officers responded for the report of a larceny. The reporting party stated that during the overnight hours, persons unknown entered the car lot, stole a vehicle, and fled the area. The Criminal Investigations Division is investigating. (2024-16039)

Officers responded for the report of a larceny. The reporting party stated that two unknown females and one unknown male entered the business, stole multiple items, and left the business without rendering payment. The Patrol Operations Division is investigating. (2024-16045)

Officers responded for the report of a larceny. The reporting party stated that an unknown male entered the business, stole a skateboard, and left the business without rendering payment. Officers located the suspect a short time later. The skateboard was returned to the business and the victim declined to prosecute. There is no further information at this time. (2024-16047)

Officers responded for the delayed report of a larceny. The reporting party stated that an unknown male entered the business, took multiple items, and left the business without rendering payment. The Patrol Operations Division is investigating. (2024-16063)

Officers responded for the report of a larceny. The reporting party stated that an unknown male entered the business, took multiple items, and left the business without rendering payment. The Patrol Operations Division is investigating. (2024-16089)


Assault

Wawa, 9700 Fairfax Blvd.

October 3, 2024 • 5:09 p.m.

Officers responded for the report of an assault. The reporting party stated that two unknown male subjects had just fought but were already separated. Upon arrival, officers encountered one party who stated the other party attempted to steal from them, after which a fight ensued; he was transported to Fairfax Inova with non-life-threatening injuries. Investigation revealed the injured party was the aggressor. The second party was contacted, and he declined to press charges. There is no further information at this time. (2024-16061)

Officers responded for the report of a larceny. The reporting party stated that an unknown male stole a package from their front porch and then fled the area. The Patrol Operations Division is investigating. (2024-16182)


Fraud

October 5, 2024 • 6:10 p.m.

Officers responded for a fraud report. The reporting party stated that persons unknown remotely withdrew money from their account after they had used the gas pump at the station. The Patrol Operations Division is investigating. (2024-16228)


DUI Arrest

Main St./ Walnut St.  

October 6, 2024 • 9:21 p.m.

Officers responded for a motor vehicle crash. Officers determined that one of the drivers was under the influence of alcohol. Neftali Velasquez Bustillo, 53, of Burke, Va was arrested and transported to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center where he was charged with DUI. Velasquez Bustillo was held until he was deemed sober. (2024-16265)
