COMMUNITY POLICING AND TRAFFIC RELATED CONCERNS
The City of Fairfax Police Department has four Community Policing areas, which consist of a lieutenant and a sergeant who coordinate the efforts of a team of officers within the Patrol Operations Division. Each team is responsible for addressing crime and other quality of life issues in their assigned area.
Traffic related concerns/complaints are managed by a lieutenant and a sergeant within the Community Services Division who coordinate the efforts of traffic services officers to address such concerns.
Locate your neighborhood in the chart below and please feel free to communicate any community policing requests or traffic concerns to the email listed below. Invitations for community policing teams to attend your community meetings and other events may also be sent via the community policing email below.
When contacting the police department, please be as detailed as possible to help us fully understand the issue and provide the necessary information to allow us to take proper action. Also, please provide your name and a daytime phone number or an email address so we can contact you for additional information, if necessary.
Requests will be answered Monday-Friday during business hours. Please allow 1-3 business days for a response from the proper team.
