Trio Peridot – Distant Voices

Piano Trio

Trio Peridot is committed to performing music by women and composers of African descent. Concerts have included performances on the Piccolo Spoleto Festival in Charleston, South Carolina; at the Arts Club of Washington (D.C.) and the Embassy of Bulgaria (Washington, D.C.); the Montpelier Center for the Arts in Laurel, Maryland; the Stacy C. Sherwood Community Center in the City of Fairfax (Virginia) as well as other venues in Maryland, New York and Virginia. Individually, they have performed in venues including the Terrace Theatre at the Kennedy Center, the National Museum of Women in the Arts, the Embassy of Norway and the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Washington, D.C.; Carnegie Hall Weill Recital Hall, Alice Tully Hall, Merkin Concert Hall and the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City; Gindi Auditorium in Los Angeles and the Sheldon Concert Hall in St. Louis, Missouri as well as overseas in the European Union, the United Kingdom, South America, Norway, Panama, Puerto Rico, St. Lucia, Trinidad, South Africa and Thailand.
