Provides direction and management to the Finance Division, develops and implements the city's financial policies and procedures, and responds to public inquiries concerning financial operations.

Provides timely and accurate financial information to users which allows for the monitoring of financial performance against legally adopted budgets and fairly presents the status of the financial position of the city's reporting entities. Procures goods, services, professional services, and construction for the city in accordance with the Fairfax City Purchasing Resolution and the City Code. 

Budgeting: 703-385-7876
Maximizes city resources by identifying cost saving measures and making improvements to the budget process while developing and monitoring the city's annual operating and capital budgets.

Tax Relief and Rent Relief Programs: 703-359-2486
Administers a program to provide real estate tax or rent relief to qualified elderly or handicapped residents.

Disabled Veteran Real Estate Tax Exemption: 703-359-2486
Administers a program to provide real estate tax exemption to eligible disabled veterans and their surviving spouses.
