Invasive Plant Removal Event
February 26, from 1 to 4 p.m.
Help eradicate English ivy and other plants harmful to the trees at Providence Park (10735 West Drive, Fairfax, VA 22030). Volunteers will meet at the Providence Park pavilion. Volunteers are encouraged to wear long sleeves, long pants, closed shoes, gloves, hat, and mask and to bring water. Bring clippers if you have a pair, but tools will be available. Anyone under age 13 must be accompanied by an adult. All volunteers are required to participate in a brief instructional introduction at 1 p.m., and guidance will be provided throughout the event. No one with symptoms should attend and participants are encouraged to take personal precautions.
