The second annual Asian Festival on Main will be held from noon to 6 p.m. May 15 in Old Town Fairfax. (Rain date: May 22)
The festival will be held on Main Street (Route 236), between University Drive and Route 123/Chain Bridge Road.
This is a one-day, outdoor, family event on Main Street organized by the Old Town Fairfax Business Association will highlight Asian heritage through food, arts & craft, education, and performances. The message is about creating togetherness, love, and the celebration of diversity.

Please note:
The following street closures in Old Town Fairfax for the festival will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on the day of the festival:
- University Drive closed from Sager Avenue to North Street
- Main Street closed from Route 123/Chain Bridge Road to East Street/Old Lee Highway
CUE Bus route detours during this time:
- Green 1: through Locust Street and Sager Avenue
- All other routes: detour via Sager Avenue & East Street
Reminder: all CUE Bus routes stop near the Asian Festival, and buses will follow a regular Sunday schedule. CUE Bus info: cuebus.org
