The Fairfax Museum and Visitor Center opened its doors to the world on July 4, 1992 — and we're celebrating!
The 30th anniversary party is going on all day, with free lemonade, and family activities on the lawn.
Test your memory with Parades of the Past, a game in which you may try to guess the year of past Independence Day celebrations based on clues.
Be sure to stop by at 1:30 p.m. for Matthew's performance of Songs of the Red, White, and Blue, followed by recognition of current and retired volunteers.
All day, visitors are invited to view the current traveling exhibit, as well as the permanent exhibit on Fairfax City history.
