You are invited to the retirement ceremony of the City of Fairfax city seal, adopted in 1973.

The ceremony will be held immediately before the City Council work session scheduled for that evening, which the public is invited to attend.

The seal, which was adopted in 1973, was used on the city flag. Additionally, elements of the seal were used in the city's fire department and police department badges and patches. During the ceremony, new badges and patched will be pinned on public safety team member uniforms.
