Join local author Derek Baxter for a discussion about his new book, In Pursuit of Jefferson, a memoir in which he follows the Founding Father’s original, now-200+ year-old travel guide through Europe.

Baxter’s tour through the continent led him through his own personal revelations while discovering the legacy Jefferson left behind—his accomplishments and shortcomings alike.

His talk will be infused with plenty of Virginia history, including Jefferson’s connections to Fairfax!
