Open House: Dwight Avenue Improvements

Dwight Avenue Improvements photo

The public is invited to the open house from 5-7 p.m. July 18 at Fairfax City Hall, where concept plans for the Dwight Avenue improvements will be shared. Residents are encouraged to stop by to see the proposed plans and share feedback with transportation planners.

Pedestrian and stormwater management improvements were requested by residents in this neighborhood through the Residential New Concrete Sidewalk Program.

This project would make the intersection of Roberts Road and Dwight Avenue safer to navigate. Sidewalks would be installed on Dwight Avenue between Roberts Road and Orchard Drive to improve pedestrian safety. Curb and gutter would be installed along this same section to contain stormwater runoff to the roadway and prevent it from flowing onto private property.
