Join local Fairfax Art League artists on the Historic Blenheim landscape to learn about painting "plein air," or outdoors painting.  Artists will demonstrate this method using acrylics and watercolors.

*You are encouraged to bring your own favorite art supplies.  We will offer limited quantities of art supplies.

*Bring a blanket to sit on.

* Young visitors can also have their faces painted and paint a small pumpkin to take home! 

*Visit the historic house to see Barbara Scott’s (last family owner) plein air watercolors.    

* In case of rain, painting will take place on covered back porch of Civil War Interpretive Center and youth activities will take place inside.
