Historic Blenheim: Discovery and Preservation co-sponsored by the Civil War Roundtable of the District of Columbia

  • Introduction: Office of Historic Resources staff member, Andrea Loewenwarter, will discuss the preservation and discovery process associated with the Historic Blenheim House: its family, associated enslaved people and the Federal soldier graffiti on its walls. This honors the memory of Burrus "Buzz" Carnahan.

This program, presented by Andrea Loewenwarter, and co-sponsored by the District of Columbia Civil War Roundtable, will honor the memory of Burrus “Buzz” Carnahan. Carnahan was a Lincoln scholar who shared his knowledge generously with other scholars and the public alike as a member of the Roundtable and a docent at Historic Blenheim.
