Join us for a free panel discussion, Immigrant Voices: Stories from Fairfax City Residents.
Sandarshi Gunawardena from Sri Lanka, Amini Bonane from the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Sayed Masood from Afghanistan, and Dagoberto Acevedo from El Salvador will share with the audience their reasons for coming to the United States and their experiences on adapting to a new country.
Immigrant Voices is a program designed to complement Fairfax Museum and Visitor Center’s current traveling exhibit, Immigration: An American Story, which will run through Aug. 9.
The Fairfax Museum and Visitor Center is open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily. Admission is free.
