In 1975, Beatric and Benedick met at a music festival. They sang, they smoked, they drank in the atmosphere.  The sparks flew.

Now it's 1979 and Beatrice is still pining for the man that captured her heart and then left to join...the military?  Wait, no, screw that. Beatrice pines for no man! Benedick is similarly completely over their fling.  In fact, he's over women altogether.  He'd rather hang with his dudes and leave love to his (slightly problematic) brother-from-another-mother, Claudio.  Hilarity ensues and hearts are won.
