Background

The subject site has two existing buildings totaling 4,735 square feet.

Requests

The applicant requests to redevelop the subject property with a Tommy’s Express car wash. The proposed car wash building consists of approximately 4,553 square feet and will include single-lane tunnel with 3 stacking lanes. The application also provides for (15) self-serve vacuum stations on the east side of the site.

Special Use Permit to allow Vehicle Service
Special Exception to allow modification to Section 3.5.3.K of the Zoning Ordinance, to allow the installation and use of exterior vacuum stations
Special Exception to allow modification to Section 4.5.6 of the Zoning Ordinance, to the street tree requirements
Special Exception to allow for a modification to Section 4.5.7.C of the Zoning Ordinance to install a fence within the required TY3 transitional yard along the southern and western property lines.
