Project Funding Now Available to Property Owners!

The City of Fairfax established a partnership with the Northern Virginia Soil and Water Conservation District (NVSWCD) to extend the NVSWCD administration of the Virginia Conservation Assistance Program (VCAP) into the boundaries of the City of Fairfax.

What is VCAP?:

Benefits:

  • Reimbursement of up to 75% of the entire project cost (reimbursement varies by project and applicant type)
  • Help protect the City's streams and water quality
  • Restore problems areas
  • Re-vegetate bare spots
  • Promote wildlife habitat
