Kate Doyle Feingold 2023

Kate G. Doyle Feingold is serving her first term on City Council.

A city resident since 2013, she was born in North Carolina and has lived all over the world with her military family, including Ohio and Germany. She has served as a board member for the Fairfax United Methodist Church Preschool, as well as a PTA volunteer. She also has volunteered for A Place to Stand.

Doyle Feingold is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran who served as a prosecutor, public defender, and civil law officer. Additionally, she has worked as a special assistant U.S. attorney at the federal courthouse in Alexandria and taught criminal justice ethics at George Mason University. She currently works as an attorney for the federal government.

Doyle Feingold received her B.A. in psychology and political science from New York University, her J.D. in law from George Washington University, and her Ph.D. in criminology, law & society from George Mason University.

She and her husband, David, have two children.
