2024 Sherwood Giving Tree Program
Fairfax City Parks and Recreation Department is partnering with Fairfax City Public Schools in order to provide assistance for families in need in Fairfax City this holiday season.
The Parent Liaisons/School Counselors from Daniels Run, Providence Elementary, and Katherine Johnson Middle School have assisted in identifying these families each school. These families completed a form with their information and wish list. This is a great opportunity for departments, companies, individuals or anyone who is looking to give back this season.
Please Commit by November 15:
A: Sponsor a "small" family: Buy gifts for a family of 2 children or less (suggested donation of no more than 5 gifts per child, $50-$100 spent on each child - no limit on clothes and other basic necessities)
B. Sponsor a "large" family: Buy gifts for a family 3 or more children (suggested donation of no more than 5 gifts per child, $50-$100 spent on each child - no limit on clothes and other basic necessities)
