Storm Drain MaintenanceThe Storm Drainage Crew maintains the City’s storm drain system which consists of catch basin structures, drain pipes, culverts, bridges and natural creeks. These facilities are located within city streets, in city parks, on other city owned property and on easements on private property.

After any significant storm, crew members inspect major bridges and culverts and along creek areas for blockage that might cause flooding. Crew members are on standby whenever heavy rains are forecast to clear flooded areas as quickly as possible.

The crew maintains the drainage ditches within the city right-of-way on streets that do not have curbs and gutters. This includes the small culverts under the driveway entrance apron. You can contact the crew supervisor if these culverts are blocked or damaged.
