Project Description
The City is developing a vision and alternatives for redesigning the Fairfax Circle intersection (the intersection of Fairfax Blvd, Lee Hwy, and Old Lee Hwy). The alternatives for this intersection will be considered as part of the Fairfax Circle Activity Center Small Area Plan.
The Fairfax Circle Visioning and Multimodal Intersection Alternatives Study was completed with technical assistance from the Transportation Land-Use Connections (TLC) Program funded by the Transportation Planning Board.
Project Schedule
This project developed the vision and preliminary alternative concepts for the intersection design during FY 2021.
Future steps will include selecting and implementing the preferred alternative as part of the future Small Area Plan for this Activity Center. Click here for more information about the City's Small Area Plans.
