Fairfax City's athletic fields (multi-purpose/turf) are open for public use on a first-come first-served basis during operating hours of the amenity's location (center or park). Fields located at Fairfax City's schools are made available only outside of school hours and school use for community, educational, recreational, civic and cultural activities by the City of Fairfax School Board and Parks and Recreation Department through the Cooperative Agreement for Use of City Schools.
