Project Description

The City conducted a Road Safety Audit (RSA) on Main Street between East Street and Pickett Road to identify multimodal transportation safety concerns and potential safety improvements.

The Main Street Road Safety Audit was completed with a technical assistance grant from the Regional Roadway Safety Program (RRSP) funded by the Transportation Planning Board. 

Project Schedule

This audit was completed during FY 2024. Future steps will include further refinement of improvement priorities and detailed analysis and development of recommended concepts. Some concepts may be considered for short term implementation, while others may require significant design and funding and will be considered as part of the Two Year Transportation Program.
